Superformance GT40 EV
Electric Le Mans icon · Superformance GT40
Everrati's most theatrical EV programme, and deliberately not a period car: the base is a Superformance continuation built under the Safir GT40 licence and carrying a GT40-P series chassis number, so no historic GT40 is sacrificed. Two Integral Powertrain motors drive the rear axle for 800 bhp and 800 Nm; the 60 kWh, 700-volt liquid-cooled pack sits in the sills where the original carried its fuel cells, with the rest low behind the seats, holding a 40/60 front-to-rear balance at 1,320 kg, about 47 kg under a fuelled original. Everrati quotes over 125 mph and over 125 miles of range, with 20-80 per cent charging in roughly 45 minutes. A Race Mode borrows simulator technology for simulated gearchanges and piped V8 sound, so the car stays dramatic without one. Partnership announced July 2021, full technical reveal June 2022, from £440,000 plus local taxes.

Continuation, not donor sacrifice
The Superformance partnership matters because it avoids converting a period GT40. Everrati can play with Le Mans mythology through a licensed continuation car and still make the powertrain future-facing.
Emotion problem
A silent GT40 would be strange, so the project leans into simulated engagement: active sound, virtual gearchanges and a brief to keep the car dramatic even without a V8.
