CTR "Yellowbird"

The 211 mph original · Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 (930), 1987

The original 1987 CTR that made RUF world-famous: a seam-welded, lightened narrow-body 911 with a twin-turbo 3.4-litre flat-six of around 469 hp. Nicknamed the 'Yellowbird', it clocked 211 mph in Road & Track's 1987 test to become the fastest car in the world. This is the car that turned RUF from tuner into a recognised manufacturer.
