Advance was added to the second-generation MDX for 2010 and ran to 2013 in the US. Mechanically it matches the other trims, with the 3.7 L V6 at 300 hp and 366 N m, all-wheel drive and an automatic. The difference is the extra comfort and driver-assistance equipment above the Technology package.

STORY

The Acura MDX is a three-row luxury crossover SUV introduced for the 2001 model year, built on a car-based unibody platform. It became one of Acura's best-selling vehicles, known for its Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system and versatile seven-seat interior. Successive generations have grown more refined and powerful, with the current model adding a 355-hp turbocharged Type S variant.
