The Base SH-AWD adds all-wheel drive to the entry-level fourth-generation MDX, sold in the US since 2022. A 3.5 L V6 makes 290 hp and 362 N m through an automatic gearbox. The system can send drive to the individual rear wheels, and equipment stays at the base level.

The Acura MDX is a three-row luxury crossover SUV introduced for the 2001 model year, built on a car-based unibody platform.
