STORY

The RT is Aion's compact electric sedan launched in 2024, built on the AEP 3.0 platform and positioned as an affordable, high-volume model. It combines fastback proportions with LFP battery packs quoted at up to roughly 650 km CLTC range. GAC drew attention by fitting a lidar-based assisted-driving system on a car priced well under the segment norm.
