STORY

The first Aion V, launched in 2020, was a compact electric SUV built on GEP 2.0. It was among the first production cars in China sold with 5G connectivity and V2X features. It had a single front motor and battery packs with a claimed NEDC range of roughly 400 to 600 km, including an early "super-fast charge" pack. The V Plus replaced it in the lineup in 2021.
