The Story

Why the M8 matters

The M8 was introduced in 2025 as a large SUV between the M7 and the flagship M9. It shares much of the M9's engineering and Huawei technology in a slightly smaller and cheaper package. It has range-extender and battery-electric versions, Huawei's latest ADS assisted-driving system and the HarmonyOS cockpit. It comes in six- and seven-seat layouts. It was aimed squarely at Chinese family buyers moving up from the M7.
