STORY

The Alfa Romeo 166 was introduced in 1998 as the large executive saloon of the range and the successor to the 164. It had front-wheel drive and a choice of engines: the 2.0 Twin Spark four-cylinder with 155 PS, petrol V6 engines and the 2.4 JTD five-cylinder diesel. The range was updated in 2003, when the 3.2 V6 with 240 PS and the 2.4 JTD with 175 PS were on offer. Production ended in 2007.
