STORY

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, and its open Spider derivative, was a limited-production grand tourer built from 2007 with a Maserati-derived 4.7-litre V8 producing around 450 bhp. The Spider was capped at 500 examples, complementing 500 coupés, all featuring carbon-fibre bodywork over a Maserati platform. It served as a modern halo car reviving the historic 8C name.
