STORY

The Alfa Romeo 33 was a compact family car introduced in 1983 to replace the Alfasud, retaining that car's flat-four boxer engines and gaining available all-wheel drive. It was offered as a hatchback and, in Sport Wagon form, an estate, with a mid-life restyle in 1990 sharpening its appearance. Production continued until 1994, when the 145 and 146 took over.
