STORY

The Alfa Romeo 90 was an executive saloon launched in 1984 to bridge the gap between the Giulietta and the ageing Alfa 6, using a Bertone-styled body over Alfetta-derived rear-transaxle mechanicals. It featured novelties such as a fold-out briefcase and adjustable front spoiler and was offered with four- and six-cylinder engines. Short-lived, it was replaced by the 164 in 1987.
