STORY

The A110 is Alpine's defining car, twice over. The original rear-engined 'Berlinette' (1961-1977) was a featherweight giant-killer that won the inaugural World Rally Championship in 1973 and made Alpine a legend. In 2017 Alpine revived the name on a bonded-aluminium mid-engined sports car of the same philosophy, light and agile at around 1,100 kg. It is a modern antidote to heavy performance cars and the halo of the revived brand.
