STORY
The Audi A6 e-tron is a battery electric executive car. It was previewed by the A6 e-tron concept at Auto Shanghai in 2021 and revealed in production form on 31 July 2024, with preorders opening in September 2024 and deliveries expected from February 2025. It is built on the 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) shared with the Q6 e-tron and is sold as a Sportback liftback and an Avant estate.
Audi claims a drag coefficient of 0.21 for the Sportback, best in class at launch, and 0.24 for the Avant. Versions use an 83 kWh or a 100 kWh gross battery (about 95 kWh usable) and run from single motor rear drive to dual motor quattro, with WLTP range of up to 750 km. The S6 e-tron tops the range with up to 405 kW.
