STORY
The Audi A6 e-tron is the fully electric counterpart to the A6, launched in production form in 2024 after being previewed by a 2021 concept. Built on the 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE), it arrived first as a sleek five-door Sportback liftback and was joined by an A6 Avant e-tron estate. A strong focus on aerodynamics, with a drag coefficient as low as 0.21, helps the roughly 100 kWh (94.9 kWh net) battery deliver WLTP range beyond 700 km on the most efficient versions. The range spans rear-drive single-motor models through dual-motor quattro variants, topped by the S6 e-tron with up to 405 kW. It sits as Audi's electric executive sedan, competing with cars such as the BMW i5 and Mercedes-Benz EQE.
