STORY
The RS 7 came only as a five-door Sportback, shown at the Detroit auto show in January 2013 with the 4.0-litre V8 biturbo at 412 kW (560 PS) and 700 Nm, cylinder-on-demand shutdown and 305 km/h once the limiter was lifted. On 22 October 2015 Audi added an RS 7 Sportback performance at 445 kW (605 PS). The second car, on the 4K A7 body, premiered at Frankfurt on 10 September 2019 with 441 kW (600 PS), 800 Nm, a standard 48-volt mild-hybrid system and five seats for the first time; German sales opened that same month and the first cars reached dealers in December 2019. From November 2022 the RS 7 performance used larger turbochargers and higher boost for 463 kW (630 PS) and 850 Nm, the strongest RS 7 Audi has built.
