STORY
The RS Q3 of 2013 was the first RS model in Audi's Q range, a world debut at the Geneva show that March with the 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbo set at 228 kW (310 PS) and 420 Nm, and 5.5 seconds to 100 km/h. The 2015 facelift lifted it to 250 kW (340 PS) and 450 Nm for 4.8 seconds, and from February 2016 an RS Q3 performance went to 270 kW (367 PS) and 465 Nm, 4.4 seconds and a 270 km/h limiter. The second generation, on the F3 Q3, was revealed on 26 September 2019 with the aluminium-block engine at 294 kW (400 PS) and 480 Nm, orders opening that October, and came for the first time in two bodies, the RS Q3 and the lower-roofed RS Q3 Sportback. Audi's own archive lists both as built until 2025.
