STORY
The S7 Sportback was the hot version of Audi's five-door coupe and reached the public at the Frankfurt show in September 2011, using the 4.0-litre biturbo TFSI V8 at 309 kW (420 PS) and 550 Nm with a seven-speed S tronic and adaptive air suspension as standard. The 2014 facelift lifted the same V8 to 331 kW (450 PS). The second-generation 4K8, launched in summer 2019, split by market: Europe bought a 3.0-litre V6 TDI of 257 kW (349 PS) assisted by a 48-volt electric compressor that spins to 70,000 rpm and responds in under 250 milliseconds, while the United States, Asia and the Middle East were sold a 2.9-litre biturbo petrol of 331 kW. German prices for the 2019 S7 Sportback opened at 82,750 euros.
