STORY
Audi's smallest SUV got its S version at the Paris show in October 2018, the SQ2 using the group's 2.0-litre TFSI at 221 kW (300 PS) with 400 Nm held from 2,000 to 5,200 rpm. A seven-speed S tronic and quattro all-wheel drive were the only configuration, S sport suspension dropped the body 20 mm below a standard Q2, and 0 to 100 km/h took 4.8 seconds with the top speed capped at 250 km/h. German prices opened at 44,500 euros. The facelift shown in November 2020 reworked bumpers and lights, left the output alone and quoted 4.9 seconds. Audi never listed the Q2 family in the United States, and the SQ2 stayed in the price list to the end of the line: Ingolstadt stopped Q2 assembly in April 2026, by which time Audi had delivered 887,231 of them.
