STORY
The SQ6 e-tron appeared with the Q6 e-tron on 18 March 2024, the first production Audi on the Premium Platform Electric that the company developed with Porsche. Two motors give 360 kW (489 PS) in normal running and 380 kW (517 PS) when launch control is engaged, which is the figure behind the quoted 4.3 seconds to 100 km/h; top speed is governed at 230 km/h. The 800-volt architecture accepts up to 270 kW on a DC charger, and the pack holds 100 kWh gross and 94.9 kWh net for as much as 598 km on the WLTP cycle. German orders opened in March 2024 at 93,800 euros, Audi handing over the first cars in the third quarter, and a lower-roofed SQ6 Sportback e-tron was shown at the Paris show in October 2024. Assembly is in Ingolstadt.
