STORY
Audi revealed the Q9 and SQ9 on 29 July 2026. The Q9 is described as Audi's largest SUV, and the SQ9 is offered in selected markets including the United States and Canada. It has a revised 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with 441 kW (591 hp) and 800 Nm, an eight-speed Tiptronic and a rear-biased quattro system with a controlled rear differential lock. Audi quotes 4.0 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
The Q9 seats seven as standard, with an optional six-seat layout using two electrically adjustable individual seats in the second row. The Q9 family is built at the Volkswagen Group plant in Bratislava, which has built the Q7 since 2005 and the Q8 since 2018. Orders opened at the end of July 2026, with deliveries due to start in November.
