STORY
Launched in 2021, the Audi e-tron GT is a four-door electric grand tourer and the brand's first true performance EV, sharing the J1 platform, dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout and 800-volt architecture with the Porsche Taycan. It gave Audi's electric pivot a genuine halo car.
Offered in e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT forms, the range-topping RS delivered around 440 kW with boost and 0-100 km/h in roughly 3.3 seconds, wrapping cutting-edge EV performance in a low, dramatic body. As the electric successor to the R8's halo role, the e-tron GT signalled that Audi's "Vorsprung durch Technik" ambitions had moved firmly into the electric era.
