The E7X is the second model of AUDI, a China-exclusive sub-brand created by Audi with its Chinese partner SAIC. It follows the E5 Sportback and is built in Anting, Shanghai, with development and production handled together with SAIC rather than at Audi's European plants.
The production car grew out of the AUDI E SUV Concept shown at the Guangzhou motor show in November 2025. The finished SUV premiered at Auto China in Beijing on 24 April 2026, with pre-sales opening on 8 May and sales starting at the end of May 2026.
It is a large electric SUV on a 900-volt architecture with 300 kW rear-drive and 500 kW all-wheel-drive versions, 100 or 109 kWh CATL batteries and CLTC range of up to 751 km. A four-seat flagship version is also offered.
