STORY

The Audi Q4 e-tron is a compact electric SUV introduced in 2021 as the brand's entry point into battery-electric mobility and its first vehicle built on the Volkswagen Group's dedicated MEB platform. It launched in two body styles - the standard SUV and the coupe-roofed Q4 Sportback e-tron - with rear- or all-wheel drive and a choice of 52 kWh or 82 kWh batteries. Positioned below the larger e-tron/Q8 e-tron, it shares its architecture with the Volkswagen ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq while adding Audi's design language, interior quality and technology such as an augmented-reality head-up display. A 2024 facelift brought more powerful and efficient motors, a bigger usable battery and faster charging, along with a simplified 45 and 55 quattro range. The Q4 e-tron quickly became one of Audi's best-selling electric models.
