Sportback 45 TFSI quattro 261 PS (US)

STORY

Introduced in 2008, the Audi Q5 is a compact luxury crossover that quickly became Audi's best-selling model worldwide, with well over a million examples sold across its generations. It brought the practicality and image of the larger Q7 into a more accessible, higher-volume package.

Built on Audi's MLB architecture with quattro all-wheel drive and a broad range of TFSI and TDI engines, the Q5 struck a balance of size, quality and efficiency that resonated globally. Its commercial success made SUVs central to Audi's business and helped fund the brand's later investments in performance and electric vehicles.
