STORY

Revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt show for the first season of the new regulations with a carbon-fibre monocoque and a 1,110 kg minimum weight. A5 DTM renamed RS 5 DTM to match the road car; Rockenfeller won the 2013 title and Audi took the manufacturers' title in 2014 and 2016. New car shown in Geneva on 7 March 2017, developed in parallel with the third-generation RS 5 Coupe, with more than 500 PS. Rast won the 2017 title.
