The Story

Why the TT RS VLN matters

The TT RS VLN is the race version of the Audi TT RS, built from the second generation TT and created in 2010 with 400 hp and developed mainly for endurance racing. Audi notes that this front-wheel drive model won overall at the seventh round of the VLN in 2011.

Its best result came on 8 December 2013, when the 034Motorsport and Rotek Racing car won the 25 Hours of Thunderhill outright. Robb Holland, Roland Pritzker, Jeff Altenburg, Rob Huff and Kevin Gleason shared the drive, finishing ahead of a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup and a Radical SR3. It was the first Audi win and the first front-wheel drive win at the event.
