STORY

The Austin 1100 was the Austin-badged version of BMC's ADO16 range. It was a front-wheel-drive family car designed by Alec Issigonis, with Hydrolastic suspension and styling influenced by Pininfarina. It became one of Britain's best-selling cars in the 1960s and early 1970s.
