STORY

Launched in 2021, the i4 is BMW's first all-electric four-door Gran Coupé, sharing its CLAR platform and Munich production line with the combustion 4 Series. It uses fifth-generation eDrive and an 83.9 kWh battery, offered as the efficient rear-drive eDrive40 and, significantly, the dual-motor M50 - the first fully electric car developed by BMW M. Combining familiar 3/4 Series driving character with EV performance and up to around 590 km of range, the i4 became one of BMW's best-selling electric models.
