STORY

The BMW iX1 is the fully electric version of the third-generation X1 (U11), launched in 2022 as BMW's smallest and most accessible electric SUV. Built on the adapted FAAR platform alongside its combustion siblings, it offers the dual-motor all-wheel-drive xDrive30 and, later, the single-motor front-drive eDrive20. It delivers compact-SUV practicality with WLTP range of roughly 400-475 km, broadening BMW's electric line-up at the entry level.
