STORY

The BMW iX4 is the fully electric SUV coupe that brings the X4 body style to the Neue Klasse generation. It was revealed in October 2026 for the 2027 model year, with launch planned for March 2027 and production at the Debrecen plant in Hungary, the same plant that builds the Neue Klasse iX3.

It uses an 800-volt architecture with DC charging up to 400 kW on the larger-battery versions. At launch the line-up is the 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive, with a 612 PS iX4 M60 xDrive following. The 50 xDrive is quoted at up to 828 km WLTP, and in the US pricing is reported from about 66,200 USD.
