STORY
The BMW X2 is the sportier, coupe-styled counterpart to the X1, aimed at buyers wanting compact-SUV practicality with a more distinctive, lower-slung look. The first generation (F39, 2018) was based on the front-drive X1 but with a rakish roofline and BMW roundels on the C-pillars, topped by the 306 PS M35i. The second generation (U10, 2023) grew considerably larger and more overtly a coupe-SUV, and for the first time was offered as the fully electric iX2 alongside petrol models.
