BX7

The BX7 was the first SUV of the revived Borgward brand. Christian Borgward, a grandson of Carl Borgward, revived the marque with the help of the Chinese truck maker Beiqi Foton. The BX7 was shown at the Frankfurt motor show in September 2015, and sales in China began in July 2016. It had a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 224 PS and an automatic gearbox. In December 2022 a Beijing court approved the bankruptcy of the company.
