The Centurion was a full-size Buick sold for 1971-1973. It sat between the LeSabre and the Electra on GM's B-body and replaced the Wildcat as Buick's sporty full-size model. Unlike the LeSabre, it came only as a pillarless body: a two-door hardtop, a four-door hardtop or a convertible. The 455 cu in V8 was standard in 1971 and 1972, and for 1973 the 350 became the base engine with the 455 as an option. In its last year the Centurion was Buick's only convertible. In total 110,539 were built, including 10,296 convertibles.
