STORY

The Invicta was a full-size Buick built from 1959 to 1963, slotting between the entry-level LeSabre and the luxurious Electra as a sporty mid-priced model. It offered a big 401-cubic-inch 'Nailhead' V8. The Wildcat began in 1962 as an Invicta hardtop and took over most Invicta body styles for 1963, and the Invicta name ended after that year's wagon.
