STORY

The Rainier was a mid-size SUV sold by Buick from 2004 to 2007, based on GM's GMT360 body-on-frame platform shared with the Chevrolet TrailBlazer. It was Buick's more upscale entry, offered with an inline-six or a 5.3-liter V8 and available all-wheel drive. Short-lived, it was discontinued as the car-based Enclave took over Buick's SUV duties.
