STORY

The Regal has served as Buick's mid-size car across several distinct eras, from the rear-drive G-body coupes of the late 1970s and 1980s to later front-drive sedans. The 1980s Regal spawned the turbocharged Grand National and GNX performance versions. The nameplate returned in 2011 as a rebadged Opel Insignia, ending in 2020 with the Regal TourX wagon and Sportback.
