STORY

The Roadmaster name, dating to 1936, returned in 1991 as a full-size rear-drive sedan and station wagon on GM's B-body platform. The wagon featured woodgrain trim, a vista roof, and rear-facing third-row seating, while later cars adopted the Corvette-derived LT1 V8. It was discontinued in 1996 when GM closed the Arlington plant to build SUVs.
