STORY

The Skylark served Buick as a compact and intermediate through multiple eras, most famously as the muscle-era GS and GSX models built on GM's A-body. The 1970 GSX with the Stage 1 455 V8 remains a sought-after high-torque muscle car. The name later reappeared on front-drive N-body compacts through the 1990s before retiring in 1998.
