STORY

The Super was a full-size Buick positioned above the Special, sharing the larger body shell of the Roadmaster while using a smaller engine. Introduced in 1940 as the Series 50, it was a mainstay of Buick's postwar lineup, offered in sedan, convertible, and Estate wagon forms. It carried the distinctive VentiPorts and sweepspear styling before being discontinued after 1958.
