STORY
The Velite 6 is a compact wagon sold only in China by SAIC-GM under the Buick name, as a plug-in hybrid and as a battery-electric car. The electric version was introduced in China in 2019, and the plug-in hybrid was launched in July 2020. The plug-in hybrid combines a 1.5-litre engine with a 9.5 kWh battery and about 60 km of electric range. The Velite name was Buick's electrified line in China, which also included the Velite 7 SUV.
