STORY

The BYD Seal is a mid-size electric sedan launched in China in 2022 as part of BYD's premium Ocean series, positioned as a rival to the Tesla Model 3. It is built on BYD's e-Platform 3.0 with the structural Blade battery integrated into the body and offers both rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations. The Seal became an important global export model for BYD, reaching Europe, Australia and other markets from 2023.
