The e6 (Blade) is a five-seat electric MPV of the second generation, sold from 2021. A single motor gives 95 PS and 180 Nm to the front wheels through a single-speed transmission. It takes 13.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h and tops out at 130 km/h.

STORY

The BYD e6 is an all-electric MPV first launched in 2009, one of BYD's earliest EVs, widely used as a taxi and fleet vehicle around the world. The second generation from 2021 adopted the safer, more efficient Blade battery and a more conventional MPV body for private and commercial buyers. It helped prove BYD's electric technology in real-world fleet service.
