Seagull 38.9 kWh Flying

STORY

The Seagull is a small BYD battery car, a 3,780 mm hatchback on e-Platform 3.0. Pre-sales opened on April 18, 2023, at Auto Shanghai, and about 10,000 pre-orders came in the first 24 hours. The launch prices that followed in late April 2023, 73,800, 78,800 and 89,800 yuan, sat 5,000 to 6,000 yuan below the pre-sale list. A 55 kW motor drives the front wheels, and the 30.08 kWh and 38.88 kWh LFP packs are rated at 305 km and 405 km on the CLTC cycle. Abroad the same car is sold as the Dolphin Mini in Brazil and Mexico and as the Dolphin Surf in Europe, and the Dolphin Mini reached Brazil in late February 2024.
