The CT4-V Blackwing is the top CT4 and went on sale in August 2021 as a 2022 model. A twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 produces 472 hp and 445 lb-ft (603 Nm), and the car drives the rear wheels only. This version has the standard six-speed manual, with a 10-speed automatic available on other cars. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, Brembo brakes and an electronic limited-slip differential are standard, and the top speed on a racetrack is 189 mph (304 km/h). The trunk holds 10.7 cubic feet (303 litres).

STORY

Introduced for 2020, the CT4 is Cadillac's entry-level compact rear-wheel-drive sport sedan, in effect the successor to the ATS, on an updated Alpha platform. It has turbocharged four-cylinder power. The enthusiast-focused CT4-V and the track-honed CT4-V Blackwing (with a 472-hp turbo V6 and an available manual) bring back Cadillac's high-performance credentials.
