STORY
The Eldorado was Cadillac's personal-luxury flagship coupe (and occasional convertible) from 1953 through 2002. It ranged from opulent limited editions to the huge front-drive cars of the 1970s. The 1971-1978 generation was among the largest. It rode on a front-wheel-drive E-body and offered a massive 500-cubic-inch V8, and it included the 1976 model marketed as 'the last American convertible.' The Eldorado remained a symbol of American personal luxury for nearly five decades.
