STORY

The STS was Cadillac's rear-wheel-drive mid-size luxury sedan, built from 2005 to 2011 on GM's Sigma platform. It succeeded the Seville STS. It offered V6 and Northstar V8 power, available all-wheel drive and sharp Art & Science styling, and it was aimed at the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. Slow sales led to its replacement by the smaller ATS and the larger XTS in the next generation.
