The Story

Why the V-ONE matters

The V-ONE is a one-off concept shown by Cadillac at The Quail in Carmel, California, on 14 August 2026. It was developed by Cadillac Racing, Global Cadillac Design and Dallara as a design study rooted in the V-Series.R programme in IMSA and WEC, a car that has taken more than 30 podiums over roughly three years.

It shares the V-Series.R carbon-fibre tub, survival cell and suspension, and uses the same hand-built 5.5 L flat-plane V8, with a hybrid push-to-pass system adding 100 kW. Because it runs outside racing rules and balance-of-performance limits, Cadillac quotes about 830 hp combined and a target of lap times within 10 percent of the race car.

Inside, a GT3-style seat and softer materials replace the competition cockpit, and a serialised plaque marks its one-off status. Cadillac calls it a concept study and has announced no production plan or price; its wheel design and V-Series logo preview future production V-Series models.
