STORY

Changan named its CV6 city car BenBen (Benni in export) at a ceremony in Chongqing on 20 September 2006, with the 1.3-litre displacement standing out in its class. The BenBen Love of 2010 was the old car with a facelift and the same 1.3-litre engine, sold next to the new BenBen Mini. In March 2014 an all-new BenBen with a 1.4-litre engine and 101 hp replaced the Love, which stopped selling, while the Mini stayed on sale. The 2014 car was priced from 47,900 to 56,900 yuan.
