STORY
Changan launched the CS35 Plus on 31 October 2018 in eight versions priced from 69,900 to 104,900 yuan, with a 1.6-litre Blue Core direct-injection engine as the only petrol option shown in the launch reports. A 1.4-litre turbo Blue Whale NE engine with 118 kW and 260 N·m, paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch, appears on the 2021 model-year listing and in the May 2022 launch report. The smaller CS35 reached the market in 2012.
