STORY

The CS55 Plus joined the CS55 range in November 2019 with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and Aisin six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes; the plain CS55 had been priced for sale in 2017. On 15 September 2023 Changan launched an updated car that Autohome says the maker officially counts as the third generation. It came in three trims at 99,900 to 113,900 yuan, with a 1.5-litre turbo making 138 kW and 300 N·m and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
